About Me
Hi! Welcome to my website!
My name is Addie Sadler. I am a thirtysomething woman living in the Midwest.
So what makes me an expert on this stuff?
Truth is, I'm not an expert. Not even close.
The reality of life is we're all just trying to get through it doing the best we can (including me).
The thing about me, though, is I am a storyteller. I use stories from my past to create relationships and grasp an understanding of the world. I use storytelling in my classroom, with my friends, and in public. I see all of my past experiences (even those that might not portray me in the best light) as learning experiences which shape me into my current self.
In my personal life, I have been a mom for five years. I have three insane, beautiful, challenging, intelligent kids who test my patience and keep me on my toes. I am learning how to be a good mom as I go, and I am willing to share my experiences to try to build a community of support.
Additionally, I have been a language arts teacher since 2013. Education is my second career path since college, and I absolutely love it. I am extremely passionate about my job and the students I teach. Currently, I am seeking a new teaching position since moving to northern Iowa, so I am putting my creative energy into educational consulting and curriculum for teachers.
